New Geometry Teachers Here’s Some Help to Get the New School Year Started Right!

Are you a new geometry teacher searching for innovative resources to kickstart your classroom? Or perhaps you’re an experienced educator seeking fresh ideas to engage your students in the upcoming school year. Look no further! I have assembled an incredible Back-to-School Kit for Geometry Teachers that will breathe new life into your classroom and help take some of the stress away!

Introducing the “Back-to-School Kit for Geometry Teachers”:
This comprehensive kit provides a wealth of resources, activities, and materials specifically tailored to the needs of geometry teachers. Whether you’re teaching angles, shapes, or geometric proofs, this kit has you covered.

Let’s dive in and see what this kit has to offer!

1) You definitely need a fun first day activity – I have created an activity that will work perfectly in your Geometry classroom.

It’s an escape room! This activity can be used digitally or can be printed. Either way it’s super low prep – no expensive locks needed.

This escape room has 6 clues – here’s an example of one of them.

Students will review such topics as solving equations and factoring. Students solve each clue which will reveal the combination to a digital lock. As they solve each clue and then enter the combination, they move onto the next lock.

2) I know one thing that always stresses me out – bulletin boards! Some bulletin boards are interactive, some teach, and some are just decorative. I have received many complements on this math symbols bulletin board. [Need even more bulletin board ideas? Check them out here.]

3) If you need some other things to hang on your wall, try these fun jokes. There are 50 jokes posters in this package – they are truly just for fun…hang them up one at a time or all at once. Your students will love them!

4) Need even more class starters?  Try these Logic Puzzles – perfectly suited for Fall.  You’ll find 15 puzzles that all have a Fall theme in this package.  Students will keep asking for more!

Finally, the last three items can be used any time of year. Once you get things rolling in your classroom, this bundle can still be useful!

  1. 5) Algebra Review – this packet will be useful if there are things your students need to review. There are a total of 10 pages and almost 100 problems in this workbook. Use a page at a time or give the students all the pages to work on over a period of time.

6) Geometry Mazes – there are 16 mazes included in this bundle. These are printable mazes. They cover topics that range from September to May. You’ll love having these available to pull out whenever you need them!

7) Working with Angles Circuit – This is a great assignment after you teach the relationships with angles. Students need to know about complements, supplements, and vertical angles to complete this assignment. My students love these and will often work long after the bell to complete.

  1. The Back-to-School Kit for Geometry Teachers provides an extensive array of resources to support your teaching journey. By using these resources, some of the stress that hits every teacher at the beginning of the year will be eased. Wouldn’t it feel great to not have to design your own first day activity or come up with review pages?

This bundle is almost 50% off. It contains over $36 in value of items from my Teachers Pay Teachers Store, but is on sale for $21. This bundle is only available at this price for a limited time (September 4, 2024), so if you’re interested, head on over to find out more and buy now!
